Hi guys, I just got a problem last night after i installed the newest driver for my desktop, but i found out that there is no SLi option,and even worse is one card is not even shown under display adapters. so there is only one card is working, but where is the other?

Info of my DELL XPS720

OS:Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0,version 6001)
Bios: Phonenix ROM BIOS PLUS Verison 1.10 A06
CPU: Intel core2 Extreme Q6850 @ 3.00Ghz(4 CPUs)
Ram: 4g
DirectX: 10

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512M DUAL !
Driver version: 182.50

Do you have two of these cards installed in the system? Because if you don't you won't get any SLI option. The card itself is not a dual chip card (like the GTX295), the word "dual" refers to the fact that it has two DVI connectors.

Yes i did, two 8800 GT physically installed and a sli bridge bridging them ..

Ok, then you should see two separate entries in your Device Manager for your two cards.

If you can see only one entry, then there is something wrong with your hardware. One of the two cards isn't registering correctly.

You can check if the cards are placed firmly and correctly in the PCIe slots. You might also try to install each card seprately (as the only card in the system) to check if they're both working correctly.
