I just downloaded nHancer (it was recommended to me by a friend) and so far it seems much nicer than the nVidia Control Panel. Praise aside, i was looking at the Fallout 3 profile, and the option it has for SLI is AFR-4W...now, under the description it says that this is for 4 GPU's but i only have 2  also under the compatability tab it has "hybrid-sli" checked...what in gods name does that mean? Im assuming that the game is compatible with SLI?

Thanks in advance,

4-way means that it can use up to 4 GPUs, but it will work with 2 GPUs just as well.

Hybrid SLI is a fairly new technology which can be used on certain motherboards that feature an on-board GPU chip. This way the on-board chip can be used together with the stand alone GPU in a game.

But it seems that nVidia will no longer support this feature in future drivers anyway since it wasn't very successful.

Hmm...seems like that would conflict with my 2 9800GT's? Thanks for the help though ^_^ Since i already have this thread, you wouldnt happen to know of any good settings for a fallout 3 SLI profile would you?

Thanks again,

Hi,

Welcome to the forum thedamned.

Personally, myself and probably many other people would suggest just leaving the profile as-is provided by NVIDIA.

However, since you have the sufficient power in your GPU's perhaps enabled 4x AA in-game and enable 8x or 16x CSAA in nHancer.

Most image quality settings should be set in-game first and foremost.

Thanks for the welcome :fatgrin2:
CSAA im assuming refers to Combined Sampling Anti-aliasing? Ill have to give it a whirl. Also, would this be at a certain resolution? (i tend to play my games at 1680x1050 with minimal AA)

Thanks,
