That thread is the same problem that I have yet to fix with nhancer. Here's the low down, I can get the game to run using the 11a8 in extension, however when I go to play a map in the game be it online or single player, it instantly closes without a specific error message. I'm up to date and using the latest forceware 181.00 and 2.4.2 nhancer. I've also made sure my opengl is working correctly with OpenGL extensions viewer, they're all 100% working. I have no problems with other older games such as Tribes and Warcraft 2 or Diablo II, they all run fine. I can run newer games as well. It is JUST THIS GAME that will not run. I give up every time I attempt to fix it. Please, if you want more depth to my problem visit that forum link and someone, PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS PROBLEM.

Hi,

In nHancer, please make sure that S3 texture compression is NOT enabled by default in the global settings or in the profile for the game.

tried it, didn't work. I'm not sure what the problem is because I recently purchased an ATI Sapphire 4850 to see if this would fix the problem. Unfortunately, the same problem occurred. I'm beginning to think it's one of my other pieces of hardware, but that's just an odd idea; I don't know how my RAM or HDDs or CPU could affect the game.
