nHancer 1.1.2 Beta (for 7800GTX)

I got my brand new 7800GTX today (just one for now).

I spend the rest of the day creating a new version of nHancer that supports the new AA modes.

There are more new options in the latest drivers ("multichip_ogl_options" and "dyn_tiling_mode"). I have no idea what they're good for, but they will be supported by nHancer soon.

BTW, even if nHancer doesn't directly support an option, it doesn't delete or change it in any way, even if you modify the profile. So don't be worried that nHancer might inadvertendly destroy a profile just because it doesn't support a new option.

yeah i noticed these new options ..esp the dyn_tiling_mode . is nVIDIA supporting dynamic tiling now ?? :shock:
i played FarCry which supports that mode but didnt notice any difference in performance .. its still performing as the previous drivers. i only noticed that my Research benchie increased.
could it be the dynamic tiling mode is supported or benefits only from the GeForce 7 series ??
how about trying to disable it Grestron & see if you your performance drops or something ? .. oh crap i forgot you dont have SLI yet :P
anyway its worth a try for anyone who has 7800GTX SLI to test that .. i know someone here who has :wink:

Anyway hope you have fun with your brand new fastest nvidia GF card, I am having fun over here with what seems to be a partially broken (http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7371) GF 440 go 64 MB. :cry:
As soon as I can get whatever is wrong with my laptop fixed I will go back to testing profiles on my dinosure GF card.

I also started to make it WinXP64 compatible.

But it's not that easy. There are several things not working under XP64 and .NET 2.0. So the easy conversion is just not an option unfortunately.

So for now I'm concentrating on the most important new features of the driver. As soon as they are working correctly, I'll go back to XP64.

I just uploaded a new beta (1.1.2) which fixes the bug that the AA settings were not read correctly and adds all the new options used by nVidia.
