NFS:HP2 shows a strange behaivor .. it didnt work very well with either AFR or SFR , but in AFR2 mode you suddenly get a hugh gain .. ~ 85% !!!
while in SFR i got some like 7% gain & in AFR ~10% .

so in short it works best on AFR2 mode. too bad the game dosent support 1600x1200 res to take more advantage of that gain .

anyway heres the profile with descrpition :

Thanks, SH64. I will update the site later today (finally).

I've got a problem with this profile. You're using the SLI mode "3". This mode doesn't exist as far as I know (and nHancer does not recognize it). Is there something I don't know, that should probably be included in nHancer or was there some mistake?

3 is supposed to be AFR2 (or forced AFR2).. i thought the mode is supported by nHancer as it do with nVIDIA's own profile .
i usually make a profile in nVIDIA's drivers profile & test/force the available modes let it be AFR (1), SFR(2) or AFR2 (3) & then try some differnet compatability bits if possible then if it worked i make a profile for the game in nHancer.

so thats what happend here.

Maybe they changed the meaning of AFR 2. When I checked last time (with driver 71.84), it was just AFR with some bits set.

With what driver did you see the mode "3"? I guess I have to create another update of nHancer... :)

I'm still using the 71.84 too!.. i'm surprised how you didnt know about it.

use coolbits to unlock all SLI modes first.
then check the SLI profile settings in the Control Panel.. you should see 5 options :
- Auto-Select
- AFR
- SFR
- AFR2
- Single GPU

what i did is simply picked up the AFR2 option & forced it into the game .. in the nvapps.xml file it shows this option as "3" .. thats as far as i know.
hmm though i could be wrong about it because no other profile is set to 3 actually excpet the ones i made .. could it be that those with forced AFR2 simply convert to the bits numbers ??
in that case how would i know which ones should work with NFS:HP2 ?

when i forced SFR/AFR onto the game i only got a little gain , but when i forced the AFR2 option .. the framerate jumped to something like 85% !

Sorry, but if I select AFR 2 (with 71.84), I get the value "2430001" for SLI, which is excatly what nHancer sets if you press "AFR2" (and which corresponds to AFR with bits 16, 17, 22 and 25 set).

Are you doing something different here? Can you verify that once again please? I changed an existing profile (the one for "Alice") and set AFR 2 for that profile.

Well i guess thats it then .. replace 3 with 2430001 .
i'll check that & report back.

Ok i can't test if replacing 3 with 2430001 is correct or not because the game wont work in SLI when i make a profile for it for some unknown reason.
the only way i can do it if by forcing it from the Control Panel.

you may replace the "3" with the AFR2 default value in the nHancer & inform the user on how to force the AFR2 in the desciprtion if the game profile didnt work.
until maybe someone reports back if the profile worked for him or not.

I'm hesitant to put the profile on the web site if you can't get it to work.

My guess would be that the executable you use is not correct. You have to check the task manager while the game is running, to determine the correct executable. Many games use a different exe to be started, but while running, another executable is used.

All the profiles should be tested if they work as a profile, please.

I'm certain about the executable file i'm using .. its just the game not normal because it loads data from CD not HDD like other games.. or why would the AA/AF settings work but not the SLI settings ?

i'll inspect the game more if i can .. because the SLI advantage here is great & i dont like to see the SLI users miss it.

UPDATE : fixed the problem & made sure it runs in SLI mode at "2430001" attribute .. i'll update the profile with the correct settings :)
