nHancer newbie here so be kind please
Do I still need to load nVidia control panel/desktop manager if I am using nHancer?
Seems like they both do the same thing and does not make sence to load them both.

nVidia's control panel doesn't actually load, only the icon is present. You can disable the icon if you which to conserve memory.
But if you're concerned about memory and boot time, you probably should disable the automated startup of nHancer as well. All settings and the profiles will work fine even if nHancer isn't loaded! Just put nHancer's icon in the QuickStart bar or on your desktop to be able to access all the settings if you need them.
As nHancer doesn't offer all functions of nVidia's control panel - monitor and color settings are only in the control panel, for example - you still might need access to the control panel from time to time. nHancer is just much easier to use and has some other options the control panel doesn't offer.
