Recently purchased Race Wtcc from Simbin, now they use Steam to activate this sim, and to beable to use it, but one problem i seem to be having using nhancer with it is, once i've done a profile for the game, i have to run Steam in offline mode for the profile to work correctly, so in other words i have to disable my connection from that pc, cause if i leave it active and run Race, the profile doesn't seem to hold, but if i drop out and disable my connection, and run Race again, which means runs steam in offline mode, then the profile works fine, any idea's why this would happen? only thing i can think is that the Race .exe is somehow being used all the time by steam and constantly changing, i don't know really, just a thought.

Hm, that sounds strange. I'm using Dark Messiah of Might an Magic, which is also a Steam-Game, and it uses its profile just fine.
In any case, there's not much I can do about that. It's not nHancer that activates the profile, it's the driver itself. That's the reason why you can even shut down nHancer after you've changed a profile and it'll still work.
If there's indeed a problem with the profile activation, I can only offer a work-around: If you use the latest beta (see the beta forum!), you can activate the checkbutton "can be activated manually" for any profile. After you've done that, you can manually activate those profiles using nHancer's tray icon. But you have to make sure that you revert to the driver defaults after you're finished playing, otherwise the settings would stay active.

Ok cheers Grestorn..would it be likely it could be Race problem then, as there seems to be alot of bugs that need ironing out in this sim..

Just one quick thing, is it possible then to put, lets say put the Race profile in the activate profile menu in the taskbar so i can manually select it there? or would i have to manually configure it each time such AA & AF and so on?

Yes, just as I said: You must activate the "can be activated manually" checkmark on the Race profile. Then you can select the profile in the "activate profile" menu.
